Did you grease the back of the pads with high temp disk brake grease?
I do the back of the pads, and the pad contact points, and never had any noise.
I had tried the sticky anti noise stuff, which made a big mess ond only worked for a week.

yea I put a little grease... test drove... put it back on the lift then really put alot of grease on the back of the pad... test drove same noise, put grease on the caliper, still noise...

so I sanded down the pad a little... still noise... rotor surface is not glazed actually looks nice and even, no idea how to fix the noise since it is only in reverse, it never makes noise rolling forward...

Al, don't bother.. I ran HPS once in my 2G TL with Slotted Rotoras... Never again... they will squeek occasionally. And the bite is not as good as EBC.

BUT! I did solve the reverse squeek, I would go in reverse 30, slam brakes for a split second, repeat 3 times... Let them cool, then slowly drag brakes for 200 feet in reverse... And the squeek was a lot less, but still, those pads I hate.. I can only imagine how it would of been on a stock rotor.

I'll probably be sticking to dusty stock or EBC.

lmao after that during the morning, all you need is to turn on your hazards and have a flashing stop sign come out the door. Kids will come running to your car.

mine does the same thing going forward. I greased the back of the pads, too. the sound is only coming from the left front wheel. It sounds horrible when I'm in a parking garage.
