I have a 2005 acura tl that I am having a hard time getting started. When I turn the key all the way to start the car, I get nothing, but when I turn the key back towards me half way and then turn it back to try and start the car it turns on. Do you think I have a bad ignition switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Does it crank and not start, or no crank?

 

It does not crank at all. I just bought a new battery about a month ago.

 

I once had a starting issue where I thought that angling the key a certain way would make the car start.... but it turned out it was the starter that was dying, not the ignition switch.
