Hard to shift in gear ('07 TL Type S)

So I just had my clutch replaced. When I picked it up from the shop it drove fine, minus it being super sensitive because it still needs to be broken in.

The next day I noticed I had a hard time getting in to certain gears, especially 1st/2nd and Reverse.

I've read about similar issues and some were suggesting clutch bleed, MTF flush. Also I haven't quite broken in my clutch yet.

I actually replaced my Master and Slave cylinder before I got my clutch replaced thinking that these could be the culprit of prior problems I had which led me to replace my clutch.

Any input? Thanks all.

Did you replace the transmission fluid?
If so, was it the GM / AC Delco Friction modified?

Does it get better after driving for a bit? What about if you pump the clutch a dozen times while its difficult to get into gear, does that help it?

It doesn't improve after the car being warmed up or driving around. I first suspected that it could for some reason be due to the cold weather (it was around 40 when I first noticed it)

And yes, it does help when I double (sometimes triple) pump the clutch and hold the clutch pedal down briefly before I get it in to gear. When shifting when I'm already in gear I have also been noticing that it's not disengaging and I need to let off the clutch, gas again, then clutch before I can get it in to neutral.

It sounds like the clutch is not disengaging enough.

I would try bleeding the system and double check all connections/hoses for leaks. Ensure the flares at the ends of the rigid line are snug.

Thanks all for the replies.

I took it back this morning to the shop where I got the clutch installed, picked it up shortly after with the clutch pedal adjusted. Apparently it was sitting too low which may have caused the hydraulic system to not fully engage and disengage. I'm going to drive it around a bit and see if it's still fine after I break the clutch in. I really appreciate the help!
