Grinding noise

So i was pulling out of my driveway and i had to turn the wheel all the way to the right. All of a sudden I hear some metal to metal grinding! Does this happen to anyone else. It seems like it only happens in the morning? The car is at the dealership right now. Suggestions?

Same problem for me no correction, dealer say ''in specs''.

WHen you launch you car in 2 nd gear from 0 mph, near a wall or a line of car in a calm street you will hear it very easily. I think it's a tranny issue, may be for you the heat shield if it's not done already.

It might be the Traction control engaging while my wheel is fully turned. I dont really know if thats it, assumption.

This gets my vote. It happened to me once. I was turning into a parking lot from the main road. The driveway dips down, then back up. As I was making the turn, I see a car coming out, so I had to quickly tighten my turning radius. As I did, I heard (and lightly felt) this grinding noise. I tought to myself "what the hell was that". I know I didn't rub the curb.

Then a few days later, I read on this forum that this is a somewhat common problem with the TL. The ABS or VSA got tricked into engaging because of the dipping road combined with me tightening the turning angle at the same time. This is my speculation of what happened to me.
