Gouge/Scratch Black Door Trim

I just noticed that there's a deep scratch on the shiny black trim on my driver door of my brand new car.
Is there a fix for this? Is it metal, will it rust?

Im pretty sure it is metal and will most likely rust, best way to fix it is to just replace it!

LoL replace the whole door?
Is the glossy black trim around the top of the window replaceable?

the glossy trim is replaceable, and believe it or not, the black gloss is some overlay on top of some aluminum/chrome plated molding.

Thanks for the info, so it prob won't rush since it's AL/chrome.
But for asthetic reasons, it's not too expensive to replace.
