Gasoline sloshing around .... Normal?

Exactly what the title states I've noticed that I hear gasoline sloshing around in my car for some time now. Makes the car sound cheap. Never had this happen in any of my other cars and from what I can remember I never had it in the TL either before.

Anyone else? It can be heard with the tank at about 1/4 and radio off and on slow 90 degree turns and turns at 15-20 mph as well. Sounds exactly like liquid in the back sloshing around.

Never. Are you positive there's nothing you accidentally left back there? No fuel smell? Sunroof drain tubes plugged? AC drain hole plugged under dash?

Ya look in the spare wheel well and see if you have had water accumulate...especially with all the rain you've been having there.

there are a ton of baffles in the fuel tank that prevents fuel from sloshing around. Check the trunk area and other areas of the car for any water! Also look under your seat for a waterbottle or something that may have rolled under!

Just did a thorough inpsection of the trunk.. removed the liner and removed the spare tire and also checked the 2 hoses on the sides of the car and they all look fine. But I still hear the water when making turns... can't replicate that sound any other way ... even when its stationary.

There was a post from Acura and they said to just turn the radio up and it fixes the problem... ;-)

But really I have never had that before, I have not seen the inside of a gas tank but I would assume that a few of the baffles in the tank could have come lose.

Good luck

How is this uncommon? Just wondering. I know more than a few people have complained about it in the TSXs.

Well.. just dropped it off at the dealer along with a few other complaints. Lets see what happens. Till then I'm in a 2012 TL which I'm not impressed with.

Really? I can understand not being impressed with the styling but I've heard they drive awesome. SH-AWD or FWD?
