I really did mess up this time.... soo I posted up this headlight problem and now.... having the car no more than a month I FUUKIN get in an accident...... SOOOOO PISSED.... I make a left on an oncoming signal light, hes coming directly ahead of me doing 70 on a 50 and the dude rear ends my back right end of my car and I get the ticket for inproper left turn.FUUK THE COPS!!!!!... FUUUKK.. I got out of the car and looked at my car for 10 min feelling agony.... I told the dude if theres any body damage im coming after you.......waited for 3 hours till the cop came... i know I should have left and made the report at the center but the dude kept saying he was gonna tell the police that I did a hit and run could he actually say that and get me charged????... ill post pics up of the damage soon trying to get a really good camera.... sending the car in tomorrow to a really good mechanic... so hopefully i see my baby again all polished up and ready to hit the streets

 

If you were making the left turn and he hit you, isn't that your fault?

I got into an accident like that in my old car and it was 100% the other person's fault.

 

consider a lesson learned, making a left turn is a danger zone......

it's always at fault~

 

Did he rear-end you or did he just hit the back side of your car? In other words, was he coming behind you or going the other way toward you?
If he was coming behind you, then there is no way this is your fault and you should fight it.
If he was coming towards you going the other direction, then it is absolutely your fault and I am not surprised at all about you getting the ticket.

In any case, I am absolutely sorry about your car!!! I had time falling asleep after I put a 4" scratch on the lip of my rim once so I can only imagine how you feel. I hope the insurance sorts it out and you get your car back soon.

 

Wow never thought this would happen to someone... BUT ME!!! I know what your going through man, its BS!

I made a left out of a plaza (legal left there was no sign saying I couldnt go) and a car coming towards me had his signal turning right so hes going into the plaza... but nope BOOM totalled (t-boned) 2002 Navi TL...Yup I got the ticket $300...

 

captain- sorry to hear about your accident but i am glad no one was hurt. honestly, it sounds like you are at fault and the cop gave the right man the ticket. additionally, if you did leave the scene of a crash, it is a criminal offense and you would be facing much more than a ticket. finally, getting into a fist fight or threatening someone with violence is really uncalled for.

chalk it up as a lesson learned and to drive safely. good luck w/ your repairs and hope your ride will come back looking great.

 

So think about it. If he was doing 70, you only had to wait another 5 seconds for him to pass. If he was doing 50, then you would've had to wait 8 seconds. If you waited and the light turned red, you would've had to wait 60-90 seconds. Was it worth it?

 

Sorry to hear of your misfortune and glad no one was injured.

But honestly, how can you think that it's not your fault when you turned in front of him.

Even if going 50, you'd have to have a lot of distance and beat feet turning in order for him not to hit you.

You see it all the time, people take their sweet ass time doing a left turn while someone is heading toward them. Most people see it and slow down, but some don't.
