Frustrated, Brand new 07 TL-S Wont Start
Bought the car on Sunday evening, Monday morning went to start the car and it won't turn...click click. Got out of the car, decided to try it again, started like normal with the exception of having to put in the radio/nav codes. Turned out that the dealer did not include the codes in the manual like they were supposed to and had to call to get the codes. A few hours later, came out during lunch and the car won't start again and finally started after a few tries (had to enter the codes again). The car started fine for the next 2 days. Thursday night happened again, car won't start on the first try and started again with the F*&* radio codes. As a Honda/Acura loyalist I was let down by the quality of my Acura CL-S (auto tranny) and went to a different brand. Decided to go back to Honda/Acura with the TL-S and this? Any advise?

Leave it running for 20 minutes+ too hopefully that would charge the battery sufficiently (at least to make it to the dealer if you have to shut it off again) so you don't get stranded and have to go through the whole navi/radio code spiel.

Either way, I would have them test the starting and charging system. GL
It could also be a loose terminal, if the car sits sometimes the dealer will disconnect the battery so it does not run down. They may not have tightened it down completely. That just came to mind..

I had an issue with the car not starting intermittently. Eventually it would never start. It turned out to be a bad starter. I have the type-s MT so a couple times I was able to start it by someone pushing the car. I took the car to the dealer and Acura replaced the starter, which they confirmed to have had a defect.

This issue turned out to be the lose battery connection. I can't believe the dealership could deliver the car without tightening the battery. It seems that everything is now fine as the car starts everytime. Also, just past the 600 miles last night and punched it for the first time...what a strong engine, car got guts for sure!
