Front Suspension Groan/Creak when starting off

When I accelerate normally from a stop I hear and feel a groan or creak which seems to come from the front suspension. If I had to guess, I would say it is either suspension bushings or defective shocks but I suppose it could be something like the dynamic engine mounts. It seems to coincide with the initial weight transfer that takes places when you are first starting to move from a stop.

Has anyone else experienced this? I had the dealership look for the problem at the last visit but they found nothing. The car has not been in an accident so it should not be a loose subframe or anything like that. Suspension is bone stock and I first noticed the problem early in 2006 with about 11,000 miles on the car.

Thanks for the insights.
