Front pass door not unlocking

Front pass door not unlocking
So my front passenger door would sometimes not lock/unlock and it finally went bad today and will not unlock at all. I ordered a new actuator, door latch cable and the inside lock cable as well from Honda.
Has this happened to anybody and what did you do to get the door open? I tried for about 20 min and the cable just won't budge. Can the actuator be replaced with the door still closed? Obv it'll be much harder, but I cannot get that door to unlock for the life of me.

That’s weird. It happened to me but I could still lock and unlock the door manually from inside the car. If it’s the cable inside the door that’s not connected, it should still allow you to open the door from the outside. Without having that door open, I don’t see how you’re going to be able to replace the actuator. The door panel has to come off for you to replace the old actuator.

Yeah man, i's going to be a huge PITA. Like I said, sometimes it would not lock/unlock, but I eas always able to pull the deal up from the inside and unlock it. Now it won't even budge.

Wow that’s crazy. I wonder if something inside got stuck. Try and bring it to a local mechanic to see if they have an idea to get it opened. Won’t hurt to try, maybe somebody has had this issue as well. Good luck to you.

That's what im thinking. I needed to replace the actuator anyways on account that it's been giving me probpems and I know I'll end up breaking something along the way lol. Thank you for the input! Much appreciated!
