Front end viberates under load. 2006

Hi,

My front end severely viberates only when full acceleration and under a load. Not when the car is with one driver and no extra weight.

Could it have anything to do with a cracked lower control arm bushing? I am getting the parts to repair that.

Any sugestions? https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/toocool.gif

You sure? I figured the ball joint would be fine but a cracked bushing can cause severe vibration. Pretty common

Also check the CV joints. When the car is loaded, different driveline angle, more pressure on the joints.

Yeah i am very sure.. Because i had that problem and it took me forever to figure it out.. And i am a Honda tech.. It is the axle, what happens is the inner joints get worn out and it doesnt sit snug in the inner joint so u cant replace it cuz it will come rite back in a month and u cant buy after market cuz it will come rite back.. The only way to fix it and not have it come back is to replace it with OEM axles.. And no there is no way to figure out which one it is.. U just have to take a guess and hope its rite.. Sorry..

From my experience a vibration under acceleration only on a Honda, and maybe a slight clunking sometimes, is common when the inner CV joint is bad on the passenger side of the car.

I don't think it's a bushing. I've had many worn out bushings before and replacing them has never affected vibrations in the car.
