Front End Screeh/Clunk
Front End Screeh/Clunk
My TL-S MT makes a slight screeching noise when I engage 1st gear. Clutch-->1st gear-->gas and slight screech. I also have a clunk, however the clunk only happens if I am on an incline turning left and sometimes right. I do believe the two are related. Also, my LCA's have the Fastline Performance Compliance Bearings, and I'm lowered a bit on the A-SPEC suspension.
My local auto shop believes it's the LCA's/compliance bearings, but do not have a direct diagnosis. I've checked tie-rods, upper/lower ball joints, compliance bearings, anti-sway bar bushings, endlinks, and have done the bounce test on the front struts. I've done the previous mentioned while the suspension is loaded and unloaded minus the bounce test. I'd hate to start throwing parts at this car, any possible ideas?
