Front driver wheel noise

When going over a small bump from 20mph on up, I hear this 'tink tink' sound from the front drive side wheel. It sounds sort of like if you take a fork and hit a glass cup. Another way to describe it is if you have a super hot exhaust, it has that 'tink' sound as it starts to cool.

It could be the brake dust shield, can you get it to make the noise when you are sitting still?

I have an 05 TL w/60k miles and I noticed the same thing recently. It sounds like a light scraping noise.I think it may be the brake dust shield as Neg1 mentioned.I don't think its the wheel bearings.

I can not duplicate the sound when stopped. The heat shield sounds like a good possibility. Almost like a small rock hitting it would make that same sound. Guess I'll have to pull the wheel and tap everything around to see if I can figure it out.
