What happened to my parking brake?

My brother in law and I changed my rear pads and rotors last weekend on my 2006 TL 6MT. Everything seemed fine until I tried parking on my driveway today. Even with the parking brake all the way up, it still started to roll down. This was the first time I parked on an incline since changing the pads/rotors. However, this never happened in the past. Did we do something wrong? Thanks in advance for the help!!!

He may have needed to retract the parking brake shoes to remove the rotor, then forgot to do a readjustment after completing the installation. Adjust the rear shoes accessed through the rotors.
See page 19-8 and adjust the rear shoes as instructed:

Thanks for the link. That really helped a lot!!! I have another question, though. Are the parking brake shoes different than the regular brake shoes? We changed the rotors and pads, but didn't see any parking brake shoes... unless we totally missed them.

Take a look at one of the old rotors that were removed, lay it upside-down and the parking brake shoes would be inside the rotor hat and when the lever is raised the shoes contact the inside of the rotor. If the rotors were difficult to remove, have seen some that have damaged the parking brake assembly from pounding on the rotor to get it off without adjusting the parking brake down, or it could also be that the new rotors have a different inside diameter for the brake shoes and they just simply need to be adjusted.

Oh crap... so are you saying that if I removed the old rotor, the parking brake shoes are actually located inside the rotor hat and i'd have to take them out and stick them on the new rotors? Not sure if he did this...

No they are not attached to the rotor hat. Just look at it like a drum brake with a disc on the outside. When you look at the rear rotor there should be a rubber grommet covering a hole just like on a drum brake. If you installed the rotor with the hole line up with the adjustment gear you should see it through the hole and be able to adjust the e-brake shoes. If you didn't well your going to have go through re-installing the rotor. Not sure if I'm using the correct wording but that is the jist of it.
