Front bumper fitment issues

Hey,

I bought my car used, but every time I look at my right headlight, it bothers me.

My car has been in an accident, as said by an Acura dealer.

The bumper doesn't line up to the headlights too well.
The bumper area at the bottom of the headlight looks "popped out" (about 7mm?).
I don't have any pictures of this, but I will tommorow.

Not to mention when I bought a tow hook cover, something behind the bumper is preventing me to be able to stick it in, so I used some glue meant for plastic to put it on.

Another thing is, if you look at the bumper, there are 2 "dimples" (pushing my bumper out) under the headlights.

So indeed, there's probably something behind my bumper, but what?

I might consider taking off the bumper to check it out myself, but you know what they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Now to the average eye it looks normal, but to a guy who loves and cherishes his car, I need to know what it is that's causing this.

I'm wondering if I should take off my bumper and just try to re-install it and see if it fixes it.

Thanks =)

This thread is sooo old haha

I've had my car for a year now.

Gonna pull off the bumper soon to install mods.

I'll look into it.

Yup!

So I hope =)

Things that take 10 minutes sometimes takes me an hour.

You never know (rusted bolts, etc).
