So idiot backed into my front bumper with there trailer hitch and left a nice hole in it at a home depot. Of course no note or anything. Im looking to find a new bumper cover and I have found some online. My question is I have a 2006 tl black, will say a 2004 fit?

 

yes 2004 will fit but 07-08 Will look better but i think if you want to go 07-08 you might need a new Grill

 

You will need to do a whole 07-08 nose conversion, if you want to go with 07-08. It's way more expensive than just buying a bumper cover only.

04-06 is the same bumper. IMO I would buy a new OEM bumper, then go to a quality paint shop.

 

What does the conversion consist of? A cover (w/goodies), a grill and...? what else?

 

Bumper cover, paint, grills (upper and lower), fog lights & wiring.
