Forgot I had a screwdriver in my back pocket

Yep, I was cleaning up the cars this weekend and doing some other work and put a screwdriver in my back pocket and forgot about it. A while later I get in the car to pull it into the garage and punch a hole in the lower seat cushion. I'm now trying to figure out how to get it repaired. Stupid mistake on my part.

Anyone know the correct part number for the lower right seat cover for a 2008 TL-S with the black and silver interior?

That sucks man. I fear the day that happens to me. I would imagine that part would be expensive. Why don't you take it to an upholster and get it looked at first.

I remember when I wanted to do that to my old Mercedes. The dealer quotes me 1000 dollars just for the drivers side...you can try like magic mender or that stuff...I have had people use it with good results. Otherwise take it to an upholster. The dealer is gonna screw you for sure

take it to an upholstery shop, they can fix it for around 30-45 dollars if it's a small hole.

The bottom covers aren't to bad, around $200. The back covers are the expensive ones, they are about $600.

Any upholstry can be repaired or replaced. Just take it to a shop for an estimate.

Ouch!! I feel your pain.

The very same thing happened to me in 2005, within 2 weeks of owning my car. I still have a small v-shaped rip in the lower-back of the drvier's seat. The dealer wanted about $300 for the rear cover and $200 to install. I looked online for a cheaper place to buy the seat cover, but had no luck.

I haven't taken mine to an upholstery shop for an estimate, but I probably will soon.

I did the same idiotic thing...Cleaning and repairing at the same time. Lucky for me, the screw driver didn't poke a hole but it did scrape the leather seat.
