Foglights (daylight) help

I've got a quick question...
I have seen some TLs that can turn on the fog lights without having to turn on the Headlights. By the way, I am talking about the light next to the headlight. I've tried a few different things but I can't figure it out... How can I turn those lights on without the headlight?? Thank you!

There is a module that will convert your 04-06 OEM fogs into Daytime Running Lights. They will turn on at 75% power when you start the car and will stay on for 30 seconds after shutting it off. When you turn on the headlights (with the OEM fog switch in the ON position) they shine at 100%. Here is a link:

I believe the 3G Garage may have more info on making the stalk switch work independently of the headlights. Do a quick search there, too.

I cut my wires on my headlights fogs and moved the wires directly to my accord fogs in my bumper.. planning on using a relay to MAKE daytime running lights out of the headlight fogs..

from what I have read, you will need to have a separate button to do it. You wont be able to do it from the factory stalk. Or at least no one has posted how to do it.

The module is $30 and does the same thing. Plus, it is very easy to install. Just throwing it out there.

You can send a signal ground to the OEM fog module ( fog control unit ) via a on/off switch.

All it takes is a piece of wire and a on/off switch. Basically you "trick" the module to turn on the fogs, bypassing the headlights and OEM combination switch on the column.

I did it on my 05 TL when I first got the car. I also installed 07-08 fogs, and wired completely independently. I have full control of both sets of fogs, independently of the headlights.
