Exclamation Fog Light Wiring Question??? Please Help!

Im going to wire up my inspire fog lights tomorow in my 06 TL and everything seems easy except this one wire.. On the end where the plugs plug into the bulbs, i understand the black wire that splits off of that goes to a ground. On the other end of this harness is a Relay, Fuse, and Red wire. i Understand the fuse and relay just need to be mounted and the red wire goes to the power source (battery). My question comes from the wiring of the switch to the fog light harness. There is three wires running off of the push button switch. One is a female end (which i know plugs into the male end off the fog light harness). One is a black wire which i know is ground. And the last wire says it goes to igntion. My question is, if i dont want it wired to the ignition (meaning i want to control it regardless if the key is in or not), can i just splice that to the battery as a power source as well. Please someone with wiring knowledge help.

1. i dont know which wire is igniton to splice into
2. i want control over them regardless if key is in vehicle or not.

Tap your trigger into the power slide fuse or power window fuse using an "Add-a-fuse".
Those are hot 24/7 giving you control of the fogs whether the car is started or not.
