FLOOR/PEDAL VIBRATION?? as well as other stuff

Alright, I've had my 05 TL AT for about 1.5 months now (1800 miles).... after the first week of driving, i noticed a vibration in the floor and can even feel it in the pedal. It usually occurs when accelerating. I've been to the dealer twice, first time they said its cause it's still breaking in. second time, a service tech took a ride w/ me and claimed that he felt nothing, then the service manager took a ride and he claimed he felt nothing as well. BUT The night before i went over to the dealer and talked to my sales person, and he took it for a ride and he said that he could feel the vibration that i was talking about, but didn't know if its a charachteristic of the car or not. SO, I'm pretty lost right now, and dont know if there is something wrong w/ my car or not. Anyone else have similar problem??

Theres also a problem w/ my bluetooth, which randomly connects to my phone when it feels like it, and doesn't recognize it the other half of the time.

My navi randomly shut off last week for no reason

key got stuck in the ignition for about a half hour last week and wouldn't come out.

I'm not too big of a fan of this car right now, and i dont know what to do/what i can do??? any help?? thanks

Vibration it's a common thing in new hondas My 2003 Accord cooupe 4 cyl had this problem, thought it was due to the fact that it was a 4cyl

My TL has the same problem, there was some TSB that said change engine mount and other things. I tried to do this on my accord but no big improvement.

I think it's a problem of conception or design

I think design has something to do with it, but i also think that where the car is manufactured has a big role on quality as well... but anyways... my list of problems keeps on growing and it really getting on my nerves, so im waiting for the regional manager from my area to get in contact w/ me.. hopefully something good will come out of this.

I just got an 06 TL and i have that same pedel vibration. Its annoying cause it makes my whole leg numb when driving on the freeway. It happens when the car is in low rpms like when on the freeway cruising and also when accelerating lightly from a dead stop.

I have had the vibration problem for several months now. You feel it while accelerating at low rpms, especially from a stop. It appears that not all of the cars have this problem as the loaner cars I have driven lately have had smooth acceleration at all rpms.

I took it in and had the TSB done, but that didn't really help. One thing that did help a little was replacing the stock air filter with a K&N filter.

Anyway, hopefully one day there will be a TSB that actually addresses the issue.

That was one reason why we got the manual transmission.
After test driving many TL's, the wife and I found the 6MT much quieter and smoother than the auto trans cars.
That and I was not sure that honda had corrected all the bugs in the automatic transmission that previous cars had.

Once again, I think the trend is to push the auto transmissions beyond reliability to get small size and many gears, and lockup clutches.
Take an old stupid GM transmission (buick, chevy, etc) with 4 speeds and they work flawlessly past 130,000 miles with no special service.
Add in another gear or two, and lockup clutches in each gear, and things start to wear out, special fluid is needed, and it may not last long. The ecu's can also tend to be confused (something that never happens on buicks), and while performance is great, shift quality is great most of the time, and economy is much better, the trans is having a hard life.

Remember when front wheel drive started on American cars?
Trans failures were par for the course, they had 4 speed auto trans units the size of a basketball. The old style cars using the old rear wheel drive style transmissions were trouble free.

The TL vibration problem seems to be some dessign flaw, something is resonating within the normal operating range, something they usualy try by design to move out of the normal rpm/speed range.
The TSB is to add a weight to damp the vibration out I think.
Maybe more weight is needed....

I dont think it is a design flaw since many dont have this problem. It really is nothing if you look for it.
