Flashing in D

Hi Everyone

I fueled up and on the way home tonight, I got the Check Engine Light and the Drive selection indicator (PNRD) was blinking in the D position.

I tried moving it over to M mode, and the tranny did nothing.

Has anyone else experienced this problem before?

Any help is much appreciated.

Chris

Sorry

Its a 05 AT with about 17K miles on it.

I had just fueled up, so I have some suspicions that maybe the fuel cap wasnt on tight.

I am just wondering if anyone has experienced the blinking/flashing drive indicator, and what the cause of the problem is/was.

Thanks in advance

Chris

I havent had that problem but Blinking D means tranny problem so drive slowly without rapid acceleration manual says.

I have a Honda Accord as well and when you get the 'Flashing D' it means you have a problem with your transmission.

On the Acura TL's, I'm not sure what it means, but it's worth having it checked out.
