Flapping noise coming from engine

Hey guys, so I've been hearing this noise coming from my engine since I've purchased my car a year ago. The noise sounds like its coming from the throttle body but I'm not 100% sure. It sounds like there's paper flapping around or something clicking... Not sure how to explain it. I thought it was normal since the car runs perfectly fine and I've never had issues with the car at all. It's a 2008 base TL with zero modifications and 8k miles. I hope I'm just paranoid and it's supposed to sound like that so any input would be amazing! Thank you in advance guys!

Do you have the plastic engine bay covers in place? Possible one of them is not attached well and is catching some wind.

The something clicking could be the valves or the fuel injectors. You should record a video so we can hear what the sound is.

So I did record a video but cannot figure how to upload it. It will only allow me to upload a photo

The noise is still there without the covers on.. decent guess though haha you got my hopes up that it was going to be as simple as that

Have you pulled the air cleaner apart? Might just be a leaf inside the box.

No I have not. I can try doing that. After listening to the noise more it sounds like a clicking or ticking noise so I looked up videos of fuel injectors ticking and it sounds similar but not quite as noticeable as the videos I watched

My bet is on the filter being ripped or in sideways or maybe something sucked up into the resonator. Thats a total guess though.

flux capicitor is likely in need of a tune up.

Open up your darn air filter box to narrow it down

^ Agree with eastcoastguy. After watching your video I'd say nothing to worry about, just your typical Honda engine, "Valves Ticking Engine Clicking"...my first TL clicked way louder than yours. Does it sound more noticeable after the engine is warmed up vs immediately after a cold start? Keep the oil level topped off and do your oil changes regularly and you'll be golden.

All your guys input makes me feel a little better. Like I said before, I felt as though nothing was wrong but wanted to be sure. I like that acronym haha and I'd say the ticking is about the same after the engine has warmed up.. Maybe a little less noticeable once it's warm but not by much. And yes i try to baby the hell out of her. I do oil and oil filter changes every 5k miles using the same filter and oil as well.
