I have an 04 TL Automatic with about 96k miles. I think my engine mounts might need to be replaced soon. I don't notice any other problems other than when I start the car, sometimes if I don't have my foot on the brake when the engine fires you can feel the car rock back and forth. Once its running no problems.

If I rev the engine when sitting it does not look like the engine is moving that much.

Does anyone else ever notice this when starting their car? If so is this normal or should my mounts be replaced.

 

have someone in the driver seat hold brak and press the gas while you in front of the car looking at the motor, you will see if theres any bad motor mounts.....by the age and miles im guessing you problably do
