Extending Muffler Tips because of Rear ASPEC Skirt

I decided to extend the Muffler Tips so that they would be more visible. Good thing I did cause it looks much better. The reason they weren't visible is because when I added the after market Acura A-Spec Package the skirt actually hid the muffler tip.

Here is One Before and One After then there is a whole bunch of befores and afters.

Before - Not Good At All

After - Much Better

Befores

Afters

Anyone else have this problem with the ASPEC Rear Skirt?

I believe someone else extended the pipes quite a while ago. I think it looks great, much better. Good job.

did you cut off the tips and get them to weld on a straight pipe and weld the tip onto it? i should have just told the shop to extend it for me when i did the stage 3 exhaust..but oh well.

Yeah I cut off the tip and got them to weld a straight pipe and weld the tip onto it. So is the stage 3 exhaust worth it and does it sound so much better as oppose to stock.

Cause now you got me thinking the other way. That I should of got the stage 3 exhaust while the shop extended the tip for me...but oh well. I guess you have the aspec package as well?

I had planned on doing this, but figured that if I was going to do it, might as well change it up a bit. I ended up getting a set of quad tips for mine. Either way, this is much more appealing than stock. Looks good

my tips

I extended my tips on a Type-s bumper and painted them red. They did'nt fill up enough of the bumper so I eventually I switched to 4 inch quads. This is how my story goes.

Start

Beginning

Middle

Finish Magnaflow with 4inch tips
