Question Exhaust Inner Diameter Question

What is the inner diameter of our exhaust piping please?

AND, when I did my stage 3, the guy that welded in my resonator used a sleeve that slid INTO the exhaust to hold in place (reducing the inner diameter slightly). Does this slight reduction affect performance at all? Does it cause turbulence and extra backpressure?

Just looking for knowledgeable responses here...
Thank you!

A pipe is only as big as its smallest orifice... you might even find bends smaller than that is. As for turbulance .. it will cause something because of the leading and trailing edge of the pipe but how much .. who knows and will it affect anything .. dunno.

You will not lose anything noticeable. I wouldnt worry about it, what you need to worry about is pre cats and j- pipe and once that is done worry about the rest of the exhaust. Your rear portion is only as good as whats in front of it.

Thank you, that is EXACTLY the info I was looking for.

THAT said, I have a V3 Jpipe sitting on my breakfast nook table that SHOULD be going in today. And the PCD's will probably be next if the V3's get rid of rasp and smell.
