Yep, you heard it right. I turn a corner and the chime will sound and the lights will go on, as if a door is open...What the heck could it be?

Did it start after any maintenance or any really wet drives? I'm thinking a wire could have been dislodged if you had work done or water got into somewhere and it moves when you turn.

I get the same thing. If I take a hard left turn, my passenger door light comes on and the door open chime lights up. Don't know what it could be

on the pillar on the outside of the door, about 1 foot above the bottom of the door sill should be a black ribbed rubber button (about 1/2 inch sticking out) looking thing that you can press in. This is the door open/close sensor, make sure it's not bent on that side.

just checked that, mine looks fine.

adjust the door striker inward. give it a couple whacks with a hammer. this will allow the door to close closer and keep the door switch closed. ive seen this a few times and this fix has worked every time

its that metal loop in the door jamb that the latch hooks onto
