Engine Tick

Hey guys, I've noticed my 06 TL has some ticking coming from the engine. I'm just wondering if this is a normal noise for an engine with 175k miles on it? If not, does anyone know what it is and how to fix it? I tried doing some research and found some articles stating to do an oil flush and put in a quart of Lucas oil additive with the new oil. I'm not too educated when it comes to oil additives but I'm not a fan of sticking any fluids in the engine other than the prescribed oil. Any help would be appreciated.... below is a link to video I recorded of my car.

Also, I bought the car about 2 months ago. Previous owner had the spark plugs replaced about 35k miles ago. I just recently had the timing belt and water pump replaced as well. As far as a valave adjustment.... I'm not sure. If I should have a valve adjustment done what are the typical prices to pay for that?

Based on the mileage, my first guess would be a valve adjustment. Just to learn what's involved, here's some info from Road & Track:

Repair PAL estimates $300 for the job:

The 1st thing to check is the spark plugs and make sure they are good and tight. Especially the #5 cylinder.

Start with spark plugs and valve adjustment... This is common on TL's...

Your link was bad so I reposted it...

My 2008 TL was a lot louder than that, and my tick was a little slower... Best of luck...

Thank you all for the replies and the good insight. I will definitely check the spark plugs and if that doesn't resolve the issue I will try a oil drain and refill. Previous owner said he did it about 1000 miles ago but it never hurts to do it yourself for good measure. Oil looks relatively new and the filter has no dirt or debris on it so I believe that the previous owner was telling the truth.
