I have been noticing a pretty loud clunking noise from the front passenger side on the road bumps. After reading some of the post here I thought I would check the passenger side engine mount and of course it was all damaged.

1- How can I check and see if the front and the rear ones are damaged as well without having to remove them first?

2- Should I just replace the passenger side and see if the clunking noise is gone. And if yes, then consider the front and rear mounts to be OK?

3- Where do guys recommend that I should get my parts from? I am sure the dealership is going to charge me 3 arms and a leg!

 

Anyone willing to help me out on this?

I have a 2004 TL with 103K miles. Just changed the compliance bushings as well as the passenger side and front engine mounts. You probably need the same after 125k miles.
I found that Hondapartsunlimited.com had best prices and delivered quickly For example, front engine mount was $150 at dealer, $115 or so for most online Acura parts sellers, but only $95 at Hondapartsunlimited.com
They report themselves as Showcase Honda in Arizona so they sell official Honda parts.
