I have a new 2006 TL purchased in Dec 2005. The car has less than 3000 miles. I recently noticed that the engine hesitates in Park at low RPM, no problems while driving.
The engine also seems to be louder. I have only used premium gas, rarely accelerated aggressively and I was cautious during the break-in period. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

get on the open hwy and just floor it, let the engine breath and clean herself out, and i mean, hold it from 1st throu 3rd gear. or, just go to the dealership and see what they say.

 

i have the same problem on my 06 tl with less then 3k miles. Not to mention the rough starts. My 02 TL Type S with 90k on it operated smoother. Such a shame.

 

What exactly do you mean by hesistates in park? Do you mean it idles rough? If so, thats a normal trait of the TL. When cold it will idle rough, its part of the emission system apparently.
