engine fans at full speed, is this normal?
my car runs perfect and my temp never move from (below middle line). the problem i'm having is that if i do a lot of city driving, (red light, stop and go) when i pull over i hear my fan at full speed. my car temp still normal and fan does not stay on all the time. They only go to full speed every no and then, stop and everything goes quiet again. if i do highway miles and get to my job i can hear the fan turning on and off but not at full speed (they spin at very low speed and little noise)
Are the fan suppost to work this way or something wrong with my car.

IMO I think once the thermostat reaches a certain degree the fans will turn on and run until the temperature drops back down to a certain degree. For example, on my R6 while cruising down the road the temperature would hold at about 185 give or take, but in heavy traffic or in the city; once the temperature reached 221 the fan would turn on and sound like it was going to fly off lol then it would shut off once the temperature dropped back down to about 212 or so. I think it's the same setup with our cars, BUT I could be wrong.

no this doesn't happen to me, but i was getting worry hearing the loud fans spinning like my car had a turbo jet inside. it only sound like for 30 seconds (when car is ON) and then it turns off, the temp never goes up. when car turns off the fans does not spin.
