Was the battery low? I didn't have that exact issue but my car seemed possessed when it had a low battery then was back to normal after a jump.

I had a short on my fuse #6 that killed all that...windows, interior lighting, keyless entry, alarm...EVERYTHING. The short was my problem but if you'd done (or previous owner) any lighting wiring, I'd check your work.

Fuse 6 kills power to all that stuff. Don't fret though...

I got that part. just wanna rule out the ECU since that is something that require me taking it to a Acura dealer, and the earliest appointment is two weeks from the day

^go ahead and rule out the ECU. it doesn't have anything to do with your symptoms.

^^^I concur. NOT ECU related...if you were getting CEL's and the car was running nuts, I'd say maybe it's ECU related.

I would really urge you to take a look at the port for fuse 6. If it's coming and going it's obviously not killing the fuse, but I bet the fuse isn't seated properly or something...change the fuse preemptively anyway to be safe. Your car modded at all?

Also, if you have a mechanic leaning toward the ECU, please get yourself a new mechanic. He doesn't know this car.

If you need to look further than a fuse, what you NEED to be thinking about is a possible issue with the MULTIPLEX UNIT. Which is behind the fuse panel. Supposedly a huge PITA to replace. ECU isn't it.

Last I checked, I think the unit was over $200 alone, not including the labor for install. I killed the circuit that powers my door courtesy light...since that's ALL that went bad on mine (my own fault, I stripped and shorted a wire when running speaker wire) I called it a day and left it that way.
