Exclamation Emergency: Gas leaks when starting car (does not start)

Hi Everyone, Thanks for taking a look - hopefully someone can help me out here. I have a 2004 acura TL that has never had any gas leaks in the past.

Last night the fuel was exceptionally low (below 0 miles) but the car was performing just fine. This morning I went to start her up, and the engine just chugged...Tried to turn over, but nothing...Thought I might be out of gas when suddenly I caught a strong wiff...Great. I look under the car and sure enough it's leaking gas from the rear top side of the tank.

I'm not sure where the fuel line runs to the pump, but I think a hose might have come unclamped. Jacked the car up and took these pictures.

When I try to start the car up a LOT of gas pours out from the top side of the tank - down along the rear.

How can I get to these parts?

Help me acurazine - You're my only hope

HRM... I think you have to access through the back seat into the trunk. Look through the 3g garage form instructions.

You can actually get to the top of tank through the trunk. Take out the trunk liner and you'll see it.

reviving very old thread, what seemed to be the problem and how did you fix it? the (exact) same thing happened to me recently and I've been dreading having it towed to a mechanic, and help?
