electrical problem?!?!

so today I walk to my car like every morning to go to work. I try to unlock the doors with my remote, nothin happens. try to pop the trunk, nothing happens. I get closer and see my doors are unlocked, I had locked them the night before. Then I start the car up and all seems fine. however, I later noticed the windshield wipers dont work on the single wipe (click it up) or the interval wipe, only a single speed - fast. i test the lock switch, no dice either. I try to signal, no dice. The hazards work though. I also noticed my radio stations were messed up as were the hvac settings. nothing was stolen out of the car so I dont think anyone messed with anything in there. I get to work and test the headlights, no dice. I'm guessing this is a fuse problem since multiple items are tripped. ideas/comments?

Sounds like maybe the MICU or combination switch control unit fuse is blown. Check fuses #8 and #7 in the under dash fuse box. Also check fuse #15 in the under hood fuse box.

update: just went out to my car to try and figure this out (realized that i cannot drive home at 6 when its dark out!). the lights work when the car is in acc., but not without. the pass. side door lock button works, but not the driver side. signals dont work. i checked fuses 7 and 8 under the dash and 15 and 16 under the hood as well as all other possible fuses and didnt see anything.

does anyone have any other guesses?

have the battery tested. I know you said you cleaned it, but double check.

also, there have been a few cases where some connections in the engine fusebox is loose.

if the car starts, and the lights work, would it be possible for the battery to still be bad?
