Electrical Issues Causing Dead Battery and Bad Starter

I bought a used 07 TL Type S MT about a month ago, I didn't drive for about 5 days amd came back to a dead battery and a bad starter. The fellow at Autozone said it could be electrical issues leading to this as when he upgraded his sound system, he got a bad battery, starter, and alternator so now I am trying to track the problem. Has anyone had this issue? The last owner upgraded to a subwooder and then removed before the sale, the car drove well for a couple weeks until now.

Bonus question: What is this device connected to the positive terminal?

That is a fuse for the power wire for the amplifier and subwoofer. It should be disconnected if the subwoofer is no longer in the car along with the amplifier.

How is the starter bad? Common parasitic draw culprits on TL are HFL and stuck A/C compressor clutch relay (and this relay might actually get unstuck and work fine for next couple of days).

I took it out and took it to Autozone, they informed me that it would extend and turn but it did slowly. When I try to start the car (after getting a new battery), all you hear is a click and no crank.

Thank you for the input, I am going to take itout and have a friend check for any shorts so I don't encounter this problem again. One little fuse caused a decent sized headache.
