Starting system has a ghost

2004 TSX

Been fighting issues with starting for months now, broken down a couple of times. Replaced starter and alternator, battery is good, all fuses and relays (assuming I checked the right ones) are good. Last two times it broke down, small cluster of warning lights came on, died, clicked repeatedly when trying to start, both times a jump start fixed it. Please help.

Clicking can be caused by weak starter cut relay, poor keyswitch contacts, faulty starter solenoid, poor battery wires (corrosion).

Electrical diagnostics to source a weak (<<12v) start signal to the blk/wht wire to the starter would ID this problem. Voltage drop test on battery wires (> 3 volts, likely higher if this is problem).

good luck

How do you know battery is good? Sound alike bad battery or bad battery terminals too me. Check for corrosion
