electrical feed-back while using HFL?

Does anyone experience this? It's a high pitch "whine", that gets more pronounced at higher RPM's.

Also, when I answer a call, there is a substantial delay. The MID even goes back to mileage/outside temp. for a second, then back to "in use", or whatever it says. Do you experience this?

I experienced the "whine" a few times, but it was because of my crappy ass phone. I had a phone that "worked" but wasn't 100% compatible.

I bought a Sanyo Katana, and ALL features work, and there's no noise, or glitches.

If you continute to have problems, it could also possibly be the HFL unit, so it's something to maybe take in.

Did the phonebook transfer work?

Does T-mobile have that phone?

I was thinking of taking it in, but since someone mentioned it doing it while hot, I'll wait to see if it still does it when it cools off. Houston is HOT.

Crap... no. Forgot about that, I guess that's the one that doesn't. Although, on their site, they SAID they all work, so maybe I'm just retarded and doing it wrong.

You can look up and see what phones work best...

There is a TSB for a whine coming from the speakers when on a call. Look in the Garage.

They applied it to my car - even though I told them repeatedly that wasn't my problem, or the reason it was in the shop.

Today, I was driving without any music, but while in guidance mode (following directions from the nav). I was driving slow in a built-up area (20-40mph). I thought I heard a siren, and started looking for the ambulance/fire engine, etc. I noticed this several times. Eventually realized it was interference, happening when I took my foot off the gas. This seems unique to the guidance mode, so far - but I haven't really started tracking this issue (too many rattles and vibrations to track down first!). Could be related to center channel speaker, since that's used by HFL and NAV?
