I've been having some issues for some time now with my 07 Type-S. First of all, from a few months ago, the alert to tighten my fuel cap comes on continuously for no reason. Secondly, whenever I turn my wheel to the left, I get a beep and my dome light blinks on. Today, it was giving me an open door alert. Also, I'm not able to release my trunk from the latch in the car. I have to use the open button on my key or open it manually. Lastly, my passenger side window will not roll down. When you try it, you definitely hear a click so it is reacting but the window isn't rolling down.


Anyone have any answers for what could be causing these issues?

Unfortunately I do not have a solid answer or experience with this issue on the TL, however it sounds like there might be a defective module or some sort of loose connection or bad ground somewhere. On my old C5 Corvette I had it did all sorts of similar random electrical issues and it all came down to literally one connection in the door that was bad. I repaired it myself and the car was perfect ever since. I assume your out of factory warranty? I know my advice doesnt do much for you as its very hard to isolate an electrical issue, but just thought I would mention the similar issues I had with my vette.

it was ironic that all of these issues began right at around 51K miles....bumper to bumper expired at 50k.

my guess was definitely some sort of wiring issues somewhere but wasn't sure. i'm getting ready to sell it. if it's just wiring and connection issues, i'm sure it won't reduce the value too much.
