if I swap my ecu do I need to have to flashed it reset ? Car won't start with the new used one but ok when I swap the old one back in ?

 

need to have the dealer reprogram the ecu to the immbolizer. are you trying to run flashpro? Or is there something wrong with the old one? I can help you program it

 

ok so I have been getting random misfire, changed all the necassary parts cool packs and plugs. Had egr cleaned still once in a while random misfire. Then inrealied by shutting off the engine light I could electronically temp fix the misfire So just trying to swap ecu so I can eliminate that

 

have you done a compression test?
