E-Brake Adjusted Tight... Any Negative Effects?

I did my rear brakes this weekend and wanted the e-brake to be perfect. I did the adjustments on the hub to factory spec, then adjusted the play at the console. I adjusted it to where everything rolls freely when disengaged, but one click of the e-brake handle will lock it up. Will this have any negative long-term effects?

As long as everything rotates freely, you're good to go. I prefer mine set up this way as well.

Couldn't ask for a more qualified person to respond, and the response I wanted to boot. Perfect.

normally the handle should go up a couple more clicks before it is fully engaged

as far as side effects, biggest thing is you might have to replace the e-brake shoes at some point (not that bad, especially if you can do brakes already)
but more then anything you will see a slight decrease in fuel mileage, from them constantly dragging ever so slightly more (and you will probably be taking up the slack constantly also too)
