dust/pollen filter replacement

I need to replace the dust/pollen filter on my 2004TL. I heard it is easy. Detailed instructions and a source for the filter would be a great help.

I don't understand why the process is so much more difficult than it was in my '04 and '06 Accords.

All I had to do in that was push in the glovebox stop and let the box drop to its lowest position. The filter was sitting right there.

The entire process literally took 1 minute and required no tools of any kind.

I also don't understand why Honda/Acura made it such a chore to replace the filter, but on my '04 the glove box doesn't need to be removed as it can come out with the dash, then access to the filter box is easy. Probably take maybe 5 minutes tops, but not a 1-minute job.
Many threads on the filter replacement as you could spend hours reading.

Yep get your Dremmel ready. I cut the slot out behine my glovebox so I could just pull and replace it within mins. Made life so much easier not only for me but for whomever has the car now.

Many aftermarket filters available with various ingredients, but I stayed with the factory filter.
