Dust In Headlamps =(
Dust In Headlamps =(
Hi,
I have had my car for almost a year now and notice that there's a bit of dust in my headlamps. More noticeable with the night lights are on.
When i wash my car, i feel happy but the headlamps have that dust in it so it kinda ruins it a bit.
Is this inevitable or is something wrong and that i should check for some gaps?
Also, will the dealers clean them as part of maintenance / warranty? does it require removing the entire bumper?
Thanks

IN the headlight housing you say!!!!- thats a bad seal -
happens to the gen 2 cars alot and older hondas
If still in warranty ask for replacement, if not, look at ebay replacements or resealing yours- it involves remove bumper- place lights in oven
=insert= wife stops procedure here- you're putting WHAT in MY oven
- remove old seal - make new seal- hope- install- test- replace bumper
No they dont take them apart ever to clean them
Avoid pressure wash near lights for now and dry area immediatly

if the dealership doesnt cover that on warranty you could try removing the headlights from the vehicle and then taking out the bulbs and then spraying some that compressed air from a can or any kind of compressed air in there. That might do the trick.
