DRL sucks

Sick of looking at the dull yellow DRLs on my 07 TLS.
Would a simple bulb replacement do the job? If so, recommendations? I tried the PIAA Extreme Whites but no major improvements. Ordered EuroDezign 8500K bulbs to see there's an improvement. Some help?

I just disconnected mine. The TINY DRL light lights up on the bottom of the left dash, but I don't notice it after 5 secs anyways.

Disabling will be the last resort if I can't find a good bulb replacement. What did you do to disable?

From what I've read, I don't think they get enough power for any bulb to make a difference - they'll all be pissed out.

Found some pictures of a IS300 running PIAA 8000k spark blue blub as DRL bulb. PIAA 8000k and 7500k are pretty much the same, and they look pretty close to what mine looks like.

Left PIAA and right stock:

How do you manage to look at your DRLs while driving to get annoyed by them?

Good question. Guess I meant the yellow haze/beam looking from the driver's view. Realize it's not meant for the driver but for on coming traffic to be able to see us better...but still sucks. Let's improve it!

I think the idea is to have that color (yellow) for improved visibility for oncoming traffic during inclement weather. For example, in Toronto and the surrounding highways, they use Sodium Vapor streetlamps that are very yellow, for improved visibility during snowfall and heavy rain. White light just causes a blurry washout, while yellow increases definition.
