Has anyone heard this noise before? I suspect a main shaft bearing or bad propellor shaft. It occurs during acceleration in 1st and 2nd gears. I changed my trans fluid but that had no effect on the noise. Thanks

depending on severity it could be fine and normal, or failing internal bearings inside the trans. Make sure fluid is replaced regularly and if you have an 04-06 change your trans filter.

Thanks much. I'm in the process of a 3x3 trans flush/fill, so I'll replace the filter on the last fill. The fluid was quite dirty and the drain plug had some metal shavings on it. For now I will drive her easy and try to slowly rehab the trans so it lasts.
