Thumbs up Driver's side power window problem

My driver's side window is currently rolled up and when I try to roll it down it will only go down about an inch. I can then roll it back closed. A few days ago I rolled it up and it was moving very slowly up, so I thought the motor may be dying. It rolled down a little one more time, and it wouldn't go all the way back up, so I manually pulled it to close it completely. It's current state is as I stated above, and I can hear the motor working to move it the small amount it currently moves. I originally thought the motor had died but based on the current state, I don't think thats the problem.

Any suggestions/ anyone have this problem before?

Thanks

The power window may need resetting or the regulator needs adjusting/replacing. I'd try the reset first. Check out this thread and scroll down to the reset instuctions:

Good luck.......

I'm having a problem with my 04 TL. I had some door speakers put in a few months ago and now the windows/sunroof will not roll down. (They are stuck in the up position). Any ideas? I've searched alot and can't seem to find anything. Thanks
