I have a 06 TL the temp is starting to drop and I noticed that the driver vent closest to door is blowing cold and the driver middle vent is blowing cold while the passenger side vents are blowing hot what could it be? The controls are both on high I topped off coolant in case that was the issue and it’s doing the same thing
Blend door (temperature mix door actuator) or plugged heater core.
Get the actuator out (Driver's air mix control motor) and see if it moves if you change the temp setting. You might try holding it with your fingers to give it some resistance. If it moves, and you can move the actual mix door (with a screw driver or such, there shouldn't be much resistance), then try flushing the heater core.
