Drivers Door Alignment

The car is about six weeks old and wind noise seems to be getting a bit worse around the drivers door. I noticed the alignment issue in the beggining, but wasn't too worried about it - now with the increasing wind noise I'm hoping the dealer can adjust the door. Anyone have experience with this?

You can adjust the door by loosening the doors hinge bolts and then start your adjusting from there, then retighten. It can take a while to get the best result, its just something that you have to play around with.

If that is a brand new car- take it to the dealer and dont accept it back till they prove the frame is straight and the door and window for perfect
Cars get dropped off the loaders all the time- could have been one of those!

The dealer adjusted the door and now it's a perfect fit. Thanks for the responses.

Did they just move the striker farther in so that the door closes more fully? Did you notice a difference in the amount of wind noise after the repair?
