Is it the front left or front right when ordering online. I want to make sure I order the correct one.


To make sure it is the actuator can some chime in and confirm with me. When unlocking the door with remote it makes a buzzing sound. Is that the actuator or something else?

Copied and pasted from the email when I ordered mine just a few weeks ago. I have it sitting in my lap as I type this, so I can tell you it's the "left front".

For me I have no buzzing sound, but that doesn't mean it's not the actuator in your case. In my case, I would push the key fob to unlock the car but it wouldn't lock the driver's side door (the master), so the car would remain unlocked. If I pushed on the door lock pin manually (or pulled it up), it worked correctly to lock or unlock all the doors.

That buzzing sound could easily be the actuator motor trying to work but not quite getting there (from the gears slipping or something similar).

 

Yea, mine still unlocks but makes the buzzing sound right now and its super loud and kind of embarrassing!!! Thanks for the part number though
