driver window rattle when taking a dump!

hi, i bought an acura tl 2006 with 83 000km on it.after 2 weeks i have remarked that when taking a dump or a little pothole, the driver window use to rattle. at first time it didnt bother me. but when driving without the sound system, it drives me crazy! so i took the car to an acura dealer and they changed the rubber around the driver window. total cost of the piece of plastic +labor 188$. i drove the car 2day,(in cold weather living in montreal, quebec)and the same sound is back!! is there any other possibilities about that rattle or does any of you have experienced that problem?!

Man that sucks. Don't feel to bad most of us have been had once or twice. Try to take it to a Honda dealer maybe. Don't let them do any work, just let them give you their opinion.

try rolling your window down just a little bit, like 1/8th inch. See if that stops it. If it does then there is a TSB out that can be applied to your car.

I have to stop reading the prob/fix posts. I just noticed that my drivers window rattles when it is about 2 inches down. Only in that position though.

I'm gonna try the felt around the base of the window. I have the rattle every now and again, so little I forget about it. let us know what worked for you though.

bender55: I discovered my window wasn't rattling, it was the panel under the drivers side dash. Plastic on plastic where the panel and the dash meet under the steering wheel. I couldn't tell where it was coming from while driving. It echoed up and seemed like the window and not using my head I assumed it was the window. It may be a longshot but check that also just to eliminate it.
