Just got my ride back from the dealer for some rattles. Not only did they not fix the rattles, but the introduced a new problem. The speaker is completely distorted and crackles now. When using handfreelink, the person on the other end is barely recognizable. It sounds terrible!!! It almost sounds like the cone was ripped or punctured.

I am taking it back in, but wanted to know what could possbily cause this. Polarity?

its probably physical damage to the speaker while they were re-installing the door panel, most likely the door panel hit the speaker as it is not covered while it is off
