Driver and Passenger Window has vertical lines

Hi anyone know where these are coming from? I Heard it's from the dirt inside the door trim. I tried wiping it down with some steel wool and invisible shield which seemed to help but after a few roll downs these vertical marks came back. Should I try to clay bar them away or are they permanent? Anyone else have this issue?

My windows are not tinted (yet!).

Maybe they were tinted before you bought the car and they took it off leaving some glue. I took tint off my commute car and had glue streaks until I took the door panel off and cleaned the window and felt strip on the on the door panel.
Might be worth a try, steel wool seems extreme, so maybe your problem is something more serious.

When people tint, they suggest 'moleskin' or felt on the inner trim to not scratch the window. It sounds like the inner trim is scratching it regardless. I'd fix it before tinting! May require removing the door panel to look at the trim itself properly and clean/replace if necessary.

Your absolutely correct. I just got my windows retinted and the guy said that in TL's you have to put moleskin in the door inserts or else its gonna scratch real bad. The tint looked terrible.
